Aaron Eckstaedt
Aaron Eckstaedt is a lecturer and researcher at Oldenburg University with special interests in Jewish Music, Music and Biography, and Intercultural Musical Education. As a singer, actor and accordion player, he is frequently seen on stage performing klezmer, Yiddish song and storytelling. His Ph.D. thesis "Klaus with the Fiddle, Heike with the Bass - Yiddish Music in Germany" (2003) is the first published book on the amazing popularity of klezmer music and Yiddish culture in Germany.
