Pierre Lévy
Born in Tunisia (1956) and educated in France, Pierre Lévy has devoted his professional life to understanding the cultural and cognitive impacts of digital technologies, to promoting their best social uses and to understanding the phenomenon of human collective intelligence. He has written (in French) numerous books on this subject that have been translated into more than twelve languages. He currently holds a Canada Research Chair in Collective Intelligence at the University of Ottawa and is Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Among his published works are: Cyberdemocratie.
