| Ann Pellegrini is Associate Professor of Performance Studies and Religious Studies at New York University. Her research interests include religion, sexuality, and U.S. public life; performance and the law; Jewish cultural studies; and psychoanalysis and race. She is the author of Performance Anxieties: Staging Psychoanalysis, Staging Race (1997) and co-author, with Janet R. Jakobsen, of Love the Sin: Sexual Regulation and the Limits of Religious Tolerance (2003). She is also the co-editor of Queer Theory and the Jewish Question (2003) as well as a forthcoming volume on World Secularisms. |
