Mark Slobin

Mark Slobin is Professor of Music at Wesleyan University and the author or editor of 14 books; two on Yiddish music themes have won the ASCAP-Taylor Award: Tenement Songs: Popular Music of the Jewish Immigrants (University of Illinois Press, 1982) and Fiddler on the Move: Exploring the Klezmer World ( Oxford University Press, 2000).
