Karen Weisman

Karen Weisman is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Toronto, where she works in Romantic and post-Romantic culture, including Jewish poetry and poetics from the early nineteenth century up to the present. Recent relevant publications include "Playing with Figures: Amy Levy and the Forms of Cancellation," (Criticism 2001) and "The Bounds of Lyric: Romantic Grasps upon the Actual," (European Romantic Review 2004).
